SKGS provides comprehensive support for environmental projects and programs. Our skilled professionals assist with environmental management systems with planning, collecting and maintaining assets, practices, impacts, and objectives and targets data in various forms and locations. We are skilled at requesting and receiving data from various organizations, and entering and extracting data from spreadsheets, databases, web sites and hard copy logs and other documents.
Natural Resource Support
SKGS has experience working with natural resources management and programs, developing and reviewing Biological Assessments (BAs) and Biological Evaluations (BEs), and providing consultation on potential impacts to the environment related to the Endangered Species Act (ESA), Marine Mammal Protection Act (MMPA), and the Sikes Act.
- Provide consultation on potential impacts to the environment of construction projects
- Provide consultation on marine mammal and sonar issues related to assessing environmental impacts of operations, training and homeporting/homebasing actions.
- Develop and/or review environmental compliance documentation such as Environmental Assessments (EAs), Environmental Impact Statements (EISs), BAs, and BEs.
Cultural Resources Support
SKGS can analyze and develop documentation required for compliance with National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA), Section 106 consultations, and Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA), and develop and implement Integrated Cultural Resources Management Plans (ICRMPs).
