U.S. Navy FISC

S&K Global Solutions (SKGS) provides a wide range of comprehensive technical support for the U. S. Navy Region Northwest.

Tasks include:

  • Authorized User List and Hazardous Material Inventory System Support – review of worksites to identify and document existing hazardous material.
  • Confined Space Identification and Inventory System Support - review of all property, identify and document existing confined spaces, and development of site specific Confined Space Inventory.
  • Traffic Safety and Recreational Safety program Support - coordination of meetings and classes, which may include preparing meeting minutes, tracking action items, course schedules, registration, rosters, data entry and record maintenance.
  • Job Hazard Analysis and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Assessment Support - conducting independent review of all work related processes, development of comprehensive Job Hazard Analysis.
  • Administrative Support - information processing, customer assistance, documenting meeting minutes, and coordinate training classes to include course schedule, student registration, and roster maintenance, data entry and individual record maintenance of personnel, equipment, inspection, and mishap records.
  • Sustainability Management System (SMS) Support – develop procedures, meetings support, assessments, reviews and corrective action, trainings and communication.
  • Process Improvement and Effectiveness Roundtable (PIER) - provide comprehensive support services for the development and implementation of the PIER program. Tasks include; participate in PIER meetings, conduct training, annual reports, and Lean Six Sigma green belt and black belt project execution
  • Environmental Management System (EMS) Implementation, Planning and Evaluation - implementing operating procedures and controls, information and documentation control, emergency procedures, training, and resource management elements of the EMS Implementation component.
  • Customer Support / Work Control / General - provide and distribute information, issue routine supplies, certifications and other items, and prepare for and document Environmental meetings. Assist in controlling work by receiving, logging and tracking tasks, projects and assignments in established formats, including maintaining, updating and posting schedules, plans of action, status reports and completed actions. Maintain databases and provide reports.
  • Spill and Emergency Response Support - providing support during spill drills and actual spill events. Provide logistics and planning support services during various emergency response events.
  • Hazardous Waste Program Support – maintaining hazardous waste manifest document log, entering manifest data information into database, maintain hard copy files and signatures, prepare quarterly meeting agendas, prepare training certificates, and document review.
