The Information Management and Communications Program at the USGS Forest and Rangeland Ecosystem Science Center (hereafter “Center”) assists principal investigators with research and development by conducting scientific information management and by conducting communication and outreach responsibilities. S&K Global Solutions (SKGS) supports the program by performing information documentation, archiving and delivery of data associated with the program. We also perform spatial data analysis and training.

SKGS consults with Center scientists and technical specialists for the development and assessment of general and specific applications of geographic information systems and automated resource data in research and monitoring studies to solve land-management problems.

SKGS provides formal and informal training and support in use of tools and techniques for scientific information management.
